Filezilla FTP Client Usage SOP

Downloading Filezilla
- Go to http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/.
- Click on [Download] on the left-hand side of the page.
- Choose the [Download] button for Filezilla 2.2.18 (or more recent version if applicable.)
- Select [FileZilla_2_2_18_setup.exe].
- Select [Download] from a host closest to your location.
- The .exe file will be download to your desktop. When the download is complete, double-click on the .exe file and follow the setup instructions.
Setting Up Filezilla
- To set up a persistant bookmark for Millbrook´s FTP server, Click the
[Site Manager] button on the toolbar (first icon on left).

- A dialogue box will appear. Click [New Site].
A new connection will be created (see above.) Enter [Millbrook] into the highlighted area.
For [Host] enter: ftp.millbrookprinting.com
For [Servertype] choose: FTP
For [Logontype] select: Normal

For [User] enter the username supplied by Millbrook.
For [Password] enter the password supplied by Millbrook.
NOTE: If you do not have
a login, or only wish to upload files, for [Logontype] select: Anonymous.
Click [Save & Exit].
Using Filezilla to connect to Millbrook
- To connect to the Millbrook FTP server, click the arrow on the right half of the Server Manager button in the Filezilla toolbar, and select the
Millbrook entry that you created in the last section.

- After a successful connection attempt, a list of files and folders appears on the right side of the main window. The current folder is listed in the edit field on the top.
- You can upload a file by double-clicking on it in the left panel. Or you can download a file by double-clicking on it in the right panel. It will be added to the transfer queue and the transfer starts automatically.
To transfer folders and/or multiple files, select them and right-click the selection. Then you can click on Upload/Download in the popup menu. Files may also be dragged between windows to facilitate upload or download.
- When you are finished transferring files, simply close Filezilla.
