Millbrook's Winkler Elected to
PIA/GATF Board of Directors
Grand Ledge, Mich.—In November 2006, Millbrook Printing CEO and President Larry Winkler was elected to a three-year term on the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation's (PIA/GATF's) board of directors. Mr. Winkler will represent the Printing Industries of Michigan (PIM).
PIA/GATF, along with its affiliates, deliver products and services that enhance the growth, efficiency, and profitability of its members and the industry through advocacy, education, research, and technical information. Located in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, the consolidated organization serves the interests of more than 12,000 member companies and an industry with more than $161 billion in revenue and 1.2 million employees.
"I am honored to be elected to the board at PIA/GATF. Millbrook's clients will certainly benefit from our increased ability to leverage PIA/GATF's national influence and PIM's state-specific assets," explained Winkler.
Mr. Winkler is a long-time Millbrook employee and PIM Board member. Hired at Millbrook Printing in 1965 by founder Bob Millbrook, he began employment as a pressman. Promoted to Production Manager in 1986, he then became General Manager and was later named as President and CEO. Elected to the Board of Directors of the Printing Industries of Michigan in 1997, he is a Past-Chairman and continues to serve on the Board. He lives in Charlotte, Mich. with wife Sheron.
