How to create PDFs in Windows using......Publisher
1. Open fonts in font management program (eg. Suitcase, ATM Deluxe) 2. Open the Microsoft Publisher document and compare the page proof(s) 3. Make sure images/graphics are embedded or linked — [Tools>Commercial Printing Tools>Graphic>Manager]
Sometimes Publisher does not warn you that fonts are missing. Check for missing fonts by comparing page proofs against the digital file and then either find or substitute them.

5. Convert colors to appropriate color space (cmyk, spot, etc). 6. Select [File] [Print]. Then choose the [Acrobat Distiller Printer]. 7. Click on [Advanced Print Settings] and then make the changes in the figures below. 8. Click [OK]. Then click on the [Properties] (see below). Make the changes below. Then click [OK] [Print] and choose the location of your pdf. |
