Submit files via ftp
FTP (file transfer protocol) is an easy way to send files to
other computers on the internet. It can help you to save time sending
us
data needed
to print your job.
To send electronic files to Millbrook Printing via ftp, complete
the following steps:
- Compress your data. Put all the files you wish
to
send into one directory (or folder) and use a program such as WinZip (for
Windows) or DropStuff (a
part of the StuffIt suite of applications for Macintosh) to compress
them. (On Macintosh, it is advisable,
but not required, to compress the files into binhex (.hqx) format).
- Connect to the FTP server. You will need an ftp client
program such as Fetch (for Macintosh) or Filezilla (for Windows).
On Windows
you may also use the raw command prompt. You will need to enter the
following
information to connect to our server:
Host or Server Address: ftp.millbrookprinting.com
Username or Login: <your username OR anonymous>
Password: <your password OR anonymous>
Directory: (blank)
NOTE: Anonymous uploads should be placed inside of the "uploads" folder.
